Road Safety Awareness Programs/Education
The P.A.R.T.Y. program is offered at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital (RBWH) in Herston, Brisbane and involves a full day excursion commencing at 9am and concluding at 3:05pm. The P.A.R.T.Y. program is designed to engage young people by introducing them to emergency service professionals, doctors, nurses, allied health professionals and people who have experienced trauma and survived - often with significant disabilities
We have developed an innovative program aimed at highlighting the awareness of young people to the dangers of modern driving. Our group consists of CFA members, Ambulance and Police Officers, and those who have first hand experience with road trauma. Our goal is to raise the awareness of young adults as to their responsibilities when they get behind the wheel of a motor vehicle.
RYDA provides quality road safety information to youth to help ensure that when they commence driving, they have the best road safety education possible. RYDA a not-for-profit company (limited by guarantee), is an organisation that has developed a road safety education program delivered to the youth of our community through Rotary Clubs. The Program is directed towards our young people about road safety as they approach the period in their life when they start driving a car and ride as a passenger in a car driven by one of their peers.
Here you can create tributes, connect with people affected by road trauma, tell your story & campaign for road safety. By sharing your story you can help others understand the impact of road trauma and educate them about safe driving practises. Let's make our roads safer so this doesn't happen to someone else!
